RULES & REGULATIONS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

1. THEME

The theme will be on the categories as mentioned below:

1) WEDDING  - Wedding would cover anything related to wedding photography especially any Creative Photo which may or may not include the bride and groom.

2) THE WORD AS YOU EXPERIENCE  - Any Creative Photo captured in a mobile phone camera with a creative eye.

2. ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to people residing in North East India.

3. PRIZES FOR EACH CATEGORY

a) First Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Rs.5,000/- Cash + Photo Musings Gift Coupon worth Rs 5000/-)

b) Second Prize - Rs 5,500/- (Rs. 3000/- Cash + Photo Musings Gift Coupon worth Rs 2,500/-)

c) Third Prize - Rs. 3,500/- (Rs 2,000/- Cash + Photo Musings Gift Coupon worth Rs 1,500/-)

d) 5 Consolation Prize (Photo Musings Gift Coupon worth Rs-2000 each)

4. The submission deadline is 17th August 2023, before 11.59pm. Results will be declared on 19th August 2023 at 5:00 pm IST.

5. Images are to be submitted via www.photomusings.org, with the subject line “Photo Musings Online Photo Contest 2023”. Entries without proper subject line may not be considered for the contest.

6. GUIDELINES RELATED TO SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

6.1 One photograph submitted only each category and the image not more than 5 MB in size, must be www.photomusings.org with the subject line provided above and the organizers may request for higher resolution original images subsequently.

6.2 Entries should be in JPEG.

6.3 Each participant can submit only one Photo for above mentioned category.

6.4 Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the photos will not be allowed. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping will be allowed.
HDR, Stacking, and Stitching images are not allowed

6.5 The Images must be free from any kind of watermark/s.

6.6 The Organizers reserve the right to reject entries with incomplete details.

6.7 All submitted materials are non-returnable.

6.8 Participants must send their complete Name and address with pin code and contact number in submition form.

7. COPYRIGHT/INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1 Entries must be the original and unpublished work of the participant and copyright owner.

7.2 The Organizers reserve the right to reproduce any entry in print, broadcast and/or electronic media without requiring the permission of the participant and without any fee payment. However, the photographer will be acknowledged.

8. JUDGMENT AND RESULTS

8.1 The images will be selected by a panel of judges and their decision shall be final and binding. No correspondence pertaining to the selection process and decision shall be entertained.

8.2 Entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, and relevance to the theme.

8.3 The judging panel reserves the right not to award the prizes if the photographs submitted do not meet the requirements stated in this document.

9. ACCEPTANCE OF RULES AND REGULATIONS

9.1 Submission of entries signifies acceptance of the rules and regulations of the competition.

9.2 While the Organizers will exercise due care during the collection, selection, and storage of images, it shall not be held liable for any failure.
